We use all types of fabric, plastic, wood, feathers, paper, wire, dyes and more. Fabrics can be stitched, folded, layered, burnt, slashed and manipulated in many ways to produce a new exciting tactile surface. This new surface can then be embellished further by beading, machine stitching, or textile paint. We meet each Wednesday 10 am to 12:30 pm, and the first Saturday of each month 1 pm to 3 pm, in the Manoora Room. If you’d like to join us at either or both sessions, you’d be most welcome.
